Schedule for final presentations

Here is the automagically, ultra-randomly determined division of presentations into days for next week that we determined this morning.  (Please feel free to swap)  The order within each day is not fixed, though can serve as a default order, if nobody is clamoring to go first.

Tues 5/14:  Sam, Ishani, Anthony, Juliet, Isa

Thurs 5/16: Chris, Aron, Benjamin, Lilla, Ruth, Sudheer

Readings

I've posted a bunch of papers relevant to the recent lectures on opacity, including McCarthy's paper on stress and syncope.
Study questions for the latter paper:
i. What happens if the input contains stress/prosodic structure?
ii. In the final version of the analysis of Aguaruna where feet are constructed one at a time, what constraint rankings favor constructing a second (and third) foot over deleting a vowel?

I've posted a reading in preparation for our next topic:
Bakovic (2007) A revised typology of opaque generalizations.
