Problem Set 9 Clarification
Several students have asked about part 2 of pset 9, so we thought we would add some clarification. You will need to find your own data set of at least 50 that has at least 3 layers.
There are 5 listed options for customization:
- Change colors (i.e. each layer has a different color, each node has a different color based on the number of children, etc.)
- Change the size of the nodes
- Change the lengths of the links
- Make subtrees collapsible
- Expand a tree (add nodes by clicking)
You should do 2/5 of these customizations (you may do your own
customization if you think of something else, but it must be *well*
documented in your code as comments).
