Final Instructions for Grading
Dear Class,I suppose you are wondering if you need to take the final midterm to raise your grade. The general guideline to calculate this is to average both of your midterms and multiply that by 0.6, then add your average you homework scores multiplied by 0.4. You should do this on a scale of 0-100. The grading scale is as follows: 85-100 (A), 65-84 (B), 50-64 (C), 40-49 (D) and anything below that is a fail. If you take the final midterm, then each midterm will count as 20%, not 30% as it is now. You cannot exchange one of your grades for the final midterm.
Best wishes,
Alfredo

Uploaded Practice Problems (Assign. 4 Practice)
Dear Class,I realized last week that I had gone through all the problems I wanted you to solve by the end of PSet 3, so that is why there was no other PSet showing up. I am uploading a set of practice problems so that you can start thinking about how to deal with real polymer problems, as the one that will come in your last take home midterm. There is no grade for this assignment, nor you need to turn it in. It is just for you to practice.
Have a great weekend!
Alfredo
