Final Grade Distribution. Course Grades to be Posted May 26
Final letter grades will be submitted to the Registrar on May 26. The table below shows the numerical cutoffs and distribution of the final grades in 14.01. (For example, if your final score was greater than or equal to 77 but less than 91, you received a course grade of B.) We did not make use of plus or minus grade modifiers.
The calculation of the final score was based on the weighting scheme described in the course syllabus. In particular, we dropped the lowest grade of your first nine problem sets. In the calculation of your final score, any missing assignment was given a score of zero.
| Cutoff | Grade | No. Students |
| 91 | A | 85 |
| 77 | B | 112 |
| 68 | C | 14 |
| 57 | D | 5 |
| . | F | 6 |
It was a pleasure teaching everyone this term. The vast majority of students put in their best efforts, and it clearly showed in the resulting final grade distribution. 14.01 will be given again in the Fall Term 2015. Have a great summer!

The graded exams are being scanned and will be available at some point next week (likely Wednesday). Before then, a speculative regrading request will not be considered.
If you have any questions on grading, you should contact the head TA no later than May 17. All regrade requests must be accompanied by a written explanation as to why the grading was in error. You should also be aware that the entire exam may be regraded rather than only the specific question on your regrade question.
The solutions to the exam will be posted on Tuesday.
