24.954  Pragmatics in Linguist Theory

In preparation for this week's class, reread section 6.1 of Kai's paper (on "local accommodation") and Karttunen 1973.  I am also posting a bunch of other readings that relate to the next few classes, but haven't yet decided which of these to make obligatory assignments.
