Deadlines to the end of term; class handout

I want to remind everybody about the deadlines mentioned on Thursday:
• April 30: PSet 6 due, a 2-page abstract of your talk-and-paper, written
as if submitted to GLOW-in-Paris (or in your dream location).
• May 12 and 14: oral presentations, each cca 12-15 mins + discussion.
• May 20: term papers emailed to Sam and me.

A revised version of the class handout from Thursday was uploaded.

Typo

Abdul-Razak points out a typo in the statement of one of the constraints proposed to account for MidAtlanticTensing: it should be *Lax æ before a sequence α β where the sonority of α is greater than that of β, so α>β. In other words, *Lax æ before a falling sonority sequence. I apologize for leaving the typo in the uploaded class notes, it must have been confusing.
