Final exam next week

Dear class,

the final exam for this course will be held on Monday May 18, 1:30pm-4:30pm in 32-144.

The final exam will be cumulative, you will be responsible for the whole course material, EXCLUDING the material covered in the last week of class. (I.e., you will be tested on the material up to and including Lecture 21, given on May 4, 2015.

The exam will be open book/notes. A computer/tablet for displaying an electronic version of the same would be ok---but no network connections will be allowed. No MATLAB or similar programs will be allowed either.

It is strongly suggested that you prepare a "cheat sheet" for the exam. It will reduce the time needed to look through the book/notes, and preparing it will be an important learning experience in itself.

No class this Wednesday, 5/6. HW still due!

Hello, all.

This Wednesday’s class has been cancelled, but your (final!) homework is still due on Wednesday. Please either drop it off by my office, 32D-762, or post a scanned copy of it on Stellar by 5PM on Wednesday.

I will still hold a recitation session this Friday to review the material on feedback stabilization that Emilio covered today in class.

CORRECTED Version of HW9&10 now posted

Hi, Class.

I am so sorry yet again! There is a typo in Exercise 20.3 in DDV (which is the first problem in your HW9&10 assignment). I have updated the homework on Stellar so that it now shows the correct form of the quantizer Q(x).

Next homework due in two weeks!

Hi, class.

I just posted the next homework assignment on Stellar, which covers robust stability and reachability.

Because of the holiday, I will not be holding office hours next week and the homework will instead be due the following week, on Wednesday, April 29th.
