Digital images as two-dimensional signals. Digital signal processing theories used for digital image processing, including one-dimensional and two-dimensional convolution, Fourier transform, discrete Fourier transform and discrete cosine transform. Image processing basics. Image enhancement. Image Restoration. Image coding and compression. Video processing including video coding and compression. Additional topics including digital high definition television systems.

Hi All,Thank you for your presentations today. Your projects have been graded, and you may pick-up your reports as well as Prof. Lim's comments on it with me tomorrow (Wednesday) from 12:30-17:00 in 36-663.
If you haven't gotten your exam yet, you may also pick it up at that time.
If you haven't filled in the subject evaluation form yet, please do so as soon as possible. It is very helpful for us to have your feedback of the course so we can improve it in future semesters.

Hi All,Some of you submitted a very large number of slides for your presentation. Please remember that you have 8 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for Q and A. Please adjust your slides and practice at home to ensure that your presentation does not exceed 8 minutes.
Also, please remember to submit the final version of your slides by midnight today.

Final Project
Hi All,This is just a reminder to please send the final version of your presentation (in pptx format) to lucasn@mit.edu by midnight on Sunday. If you will use any video sequences, please add them to the presentation, and send them attached in a separate zip file.
Presentations will take place Tuesday, May 12th, from 11:00-14:00, in 37-212. Your second quiz will be returned to you after the presentations.
