The class offers the opportunity for students to see if they want to go into entrepreneurship and provides them with the skills necessary to do so. Also, students will get the chance to listen to well known founders speak about their own experiences while starting their companies.

Clarification for Pitches - 5/12 @ 7PM
We have received several emails asking about the logistics for the pitches. Below are some clarifying points:- Pitches should be between 2-3 minutes. We will cut you off at
3 minutes.
- You do not need to have slides; they are optional. If you decide
to use slides, please send the PDF version to fj-ta@mit.edu by 4PM
Tuesday.
- Q&A will be up to 1 minute. The length of Q&A will depend
on how long your pitch lasts.
- Food will be provided at 6:40PM (pizza). Pitches will begin
promptly at 7:00PM.
- Pitch order will be posted tomorrow before class.

[IMPORTANT] Final Class Logistics / Course Evaluation
Your team's final submission is due Tuesday, May 12th on Stellar at 7PM. The final project rubric is now posted online. All 6 parts of our project (*includes everything you have submitted thus far) should be submitted as one document on Stellar. Only one member from your team has to submit the final project.The semester's final class will take place next Tuesday, May 12th. Pizza will be served at 6:45PM. The pitches will begin promptly at 7PM. Each pitch can be 3 minutes max. Following the pitches we will award prizes and lottery off the signed Jack Welch books.
Course evaluations are open for 6.933. Please fill these out so
that we can get feedback for future semesters. The link is found

Reminders for Upcoming Lectures
If you did not pick up a book in class for use during your Jack Welch talk makeup work, please email the TA's ASAP to schedule a book pickup. This work will be due Tuesday 5/5. These books must be returned after use, because they will later be distributed to the class via a lottery.If you got direction from Christina about pivoting your idea or found out about existing competitors, you don't have to resubmit parts already submitted, but you do have to include these findings / factors in future parts submitted.
All 6 parts of project will be submitted in a final document form and one submission per group is OK.
Final presentations will be on Tuesday 5/12, there will be no class Thursday 5/14.
