Final Projects

Hi all,

I thoroughly enjoyed your presentations today, and I am eager to hear Thursday's talks!

You can submit your final projects on Stellar (\homework\final project) by Thursday at 2.30. But if you have already emailed me your project, thanks and don't worry...

Best,

Final presentations

Hi all!

The final presentation schedule for both sections have been uploaded on Stellar, under "General" tab. Unfortunately, most teams asked for a Thursday slot so we had to make some hard decisions on who goes when. We hope you understand.

A few details for you to bear in mind:

- Cross-section teams will be presenting in the same section as you previously presented your proposals
- Presentation length will be ~10 minutes per team. Please prepare accordingly
- Send us your presentations in PPT by 10PM the night before you are scheduled to present

Please let us know if any questions.

Best,
Ale, Pepijn and Jake

GT PROJECT PRESENTATIONS

Dear all,

I am looking forward to Project Presentations Week (classes of May 10-12). *Every team will present their work.* Final projects are due in class on the last day, i.e., Thursday, May 12.

Per the instructions in the syllabus, please send a *progress report* by *Thursday May 5th* to both TAs and myself. This can be very a simple email containing the following information:

1) Brief description of your project (like an abstract of your report)

2) One paragraph describing the progress you have made since the proposals presentations on March 10.

3) Any preferences for presentation date (Tue vs. Thu). Of course, we cannot commit to a date, but we’ll try.

We will use this information (not graded) to schedule the presentations in a way that makes sense for you and that aligns the topics covered on each day.

Given the ## of teams across the 2 sections, we are looking at (on average) 6 presentations of 10 minutes each, including questions.

Let us know if you have any questions! In the meantime, I’m excited to discuss with you "reputation for credibility" (next Tuesday) and the "Cuban missile crisis" (next Thursday).

Have a fantastic weekend,
Alessandro

Poker Game - hand-in optional

Dear class,

A quick update on the Poker Game for Thursday:

1. As we realized the wording we used is somewhat confusing, we have decided that handing in a memo is optional.

2. That being said, we will play the game in class, so if you decide not to hand in a memo we do still expect you to have thought about the exercise before coming to class.

Best of luck,

Ale, Jake, and Pepijn
