Final exam tomorrow
Dear students,Here are a few details regarding tomorrow's final exam, which takes place 9am-12 noon.
1) Location: the exam will be given in two neighboring rooms
Section A: E62-262
Section B: E62-276
2) Seating: there will be assigned seats for the exam. Plan to arrive before 9 (but not before 8:30) so that you have time to find your assignment and your seat.
3) Baggage: please keep your personal belongings to a minimum. There are no laptops, calculators, books, or electronics of any kind permitted. The only thing that should be the desk is pens, a note sheet, and perhaps water and/or snacks for inspiration.
4) Exam instructions: the first page of the exam contains the following instructions.
The exam consists of 8 problems, worth a total of 250
points.
You must show your work on all problems. Partial credit will be
given for all work shown,
and credit will be withheld (even for correct answers) if no work
is shown. No additional
scratch paper is allowed -- do all your work on these examination
pages, and organize your
results clearly.
You are to answer these examination questions without consulting
any other resources
except that you may use a page of notes which has been personally
handwritten by you on
one or both sides of a single 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of
paper. This page of notes must be
submitted along with your exam and it must have your name and MIT
ID clearly written at
the top.
