Class evaluations available to fill out until Monday morning

Hi folks - you're terminally busy with your projects, I'm sure now, but remember that the MIT Course Evaluation Forms can be filled out online - your feedback is always appreciated as we evolve the class, especially as we tweaked the problem sets and Labs quite a bit this term.  See you all on Tuesday - I'm looking forward to your projects.

Good afternoon,

We are writing to let you know that the spring 2016 end-of-term subject evaluations (http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation) are now open. Your students will have until Monday, May 16 at 9 AM to complete their surveys. You are receiving this email because you teach in at least one subject that will be evaluated online.

Throughout the evaluation period, view real-time response rates at:
https://sisapp.mit.edu/subjeval-rpt/responserate.htm

We encourage you to keep an eye on these response rates and remind your students to complete their evaluations. Students are much more likely to complete evaluations when they know that their feedback, particularly open-ended comments, is important to you.

We have also prepared a PowerPoint slide to remind students about the evaluations in case you would like to project it at the start of your classes. To download visit:
http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation/ose-classroom-slide.ppt

More information about MIT's subject evaluation process can be found at:
http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation/getevaluated.html.

For questions or technical problems (logging in, viewing results, etc.) contact se-help@mit.edu.

Regards,
The Subject Evaluation Team

Lab 4 Sensors and Lab 5 Due Date

Hey All,

Two announcements:

You'll need 1 FSR and 1 piezo film sensor for Lab 4. They're in bags in my mailbox next to Joe's office. Please only take 1 per person.

We've decided to push back the due date for Lab 5 by 1 week to April 21, to give a little breathing room for folks working on Member Event demos.
