15.012 Important Debate Day information
Hi 15.012 scholars,I hope you are staying warm in this cold snow day. A few important pointers for the debates:
1) You have to sit with your team! Remember that participation will be graded on a team basis, for better or worse, so it’s in your best interest to sit next to your teammates.
2) Print out a name placard with your team’s country name/flag (in addition to your individual name tag). Additional country swag is encouraged!
3) Remember that attendance is mandatory for both debate days (3/15 – Trade Wars and 3/17 – Saving Japan).
4) For those of you selected to present you will have a maximum of 5 minutes to present your slides, before we open the debate to Q&A. If your team is not selected to present, you will have an opportunity to make a statement during Q&A as well as your own individual comments - these will be used to award your team's grade for that debate.
We look forward to seeing you at the debates!
Best,
The 15.012 TA’s
