Skylanders comments returned

Hi all - you have received your skylanders comments and grades. I have received some queries about my comment ' late submissions had points deducted'. That is a generic statement that went into everyone's email - it is more than likely you did not have any points deducted- it was only meant for those who were late, and whose points didn't add up.

I hope that clears up any confusion.

Final Assignment Clarification

All,
Please let me apologize for not providing a bit more precise guidance about the stance about when to do the analysis for the Skylanders case.

There was some ambiguity about whether you should consider the case from the perspective of December 2015 (the time of the case) or present day, and my instructions to Caroline perhaps only confused the matter.

To get to the point:

If you have already handed in your assignment (or completed the work and are writing it up), please feel free to take the perspective of either December 2015 (the time of the case) or present day. There is no need to adjust your assignment if you have already handed it in or have already been writing it up.

For those that are just starting the case or are in early stages, it is probably a bit more straightforward to work your way through the analysis taking the perspective of December 2015.

This miscommunication was definitely my fault and sorry for causing some panic this afternoon.

To be clear, please just continue pursuing the case along the line that you were prior to the email earlier today.
We will make sure to not grade up or down based on the perspective that you take and/or whether you implicitly incorporate material and facts that occur after the case was written.

Final case - updated information

For the final case study homework please write your answer as if you are in December 2015, that is - that you don't know about recent developments. We apologize if you have already completed your analysis, but feel free to re-submit if you want to, or send us a note directly.

UPDATED: Due Date for Final Case Analysis: Friday, April 21 at 11:59 p.m.

Dear EMBA students,

Scott and I are receptive to your pleas for more time to complete the assignment. We do not want to conflict with your DMD and Accounting assignments.

With this in mind, we have agreed to push the dues date for the final case to Friday, April 21st, at 11:59pm.

Final homework - due April 17th
