Have a great summer!

Dear 15.763 Students,

Thank you again for a great (half) semester!

I forgot to mention to please reach out to Will (willma@mit.edu) or myself (deishin@mit.edu) if you have any feedback or thoughts on the course material. And of course, we would love to hear about cool supply chain projects you're working on -- we are always looking for ways to incorporate new thinking/challenges/best practices into the course.

Have a great summer!

Best,
Deishin

Updated assignment questions for Polyface

Dear 15.763 Students,

I updated the assignment questions for the Polyface case -- the link should say "UPDATED 2017-05-11". It's not very different from before, but I sharpened the first two questions a bit. If you've already answered the first two questions, don't worry about changing it.

Best,
Deishin

Next week: Polyface Case

Dear 15.763 Students,

We will be discussing the Polyface Case next Tues (5/16). The case presents two very different supply chains for producing beef, and in class we will explore the implications and compare the two different methods of production.

The intent of the assignment questions is to try to unravel how value is created in these two supply chains, and how we would measure it. There are no "calculation" type questions that require numerical analysis. I'm interested in your thoughts and look forward to our discussion in class.

Have a great weekend and see you on Tuesday!

Best,
Deishin
