Exam 3 Start Time and Location

Hi all,

Exam 3 will begin promptly at 1:30 PM and end at 2:50 PM on Monday 05/22. You will only have 80 minutes to complete the exam (like you did for exams 1 and 2). Please arrive on time if you would like to have maximal time to complete your exam. This is also the case for those taking the conflict exam.

Your exam 3 location is determined by the first letter of your last name, as follows:
M-Z test in 32-123
A-L test in 34-101

Exam 2 Available Now

Hi all,

Your graded exams are now in the mailboxes in building 46 on floor 2. They are located down the hall from BCS Headquarters. The solutions have also been posted on Stellar.

Paper 2 & Extra Credit Opportunities

Hi all,

Paper 2 instructions and resources are now posted under "Writing Materials". The paper is due on Friday May 12th.

As stated in the syllabus there are 2 ways to earn extra credit. You may ONLY complete ONE of the options and doing so will earn you 5 points onto your total exam grade (not % points, but points). The options are:

1. Participate in 3 hours of BCS experiments. Upon doing so please give proof of your participation to your TA. This can be in the form of a confirmation email from the experimenter, a copy of your consent form, or time, date, and brief summary of the experiment. You can find experiments here: http://www.bcs-subjects.com/ and be added to the mailing list here: http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/bcs_subjects

2. Complete the extra credit paper assignment posted on Stellar under "Writing Materials" and submit it by May 18th.

Hi all,
Like exam 1, exam 2 will take place in two different locations. Your location is determined by the first letter of your last name, as follows:
A-L test in 32-123
M-Z test in 34-101
As a reminder, exam 2 is on 4/25 from 2:05 to 3:25 PM.

Writing Assignment 1

Hi all,

This is a reminder that the instructions and paper you will use for your first writing assignment are posted on Stellar. They are under Writing Materials in the Materials section. The initial version of paper 1 is due on March 24th via the Gradebook Module.
