End of H1: Team Member Assessment, Teaching Evaluation, Exit Survey

Hi all,

We have made it to the end of 15.871 – congratulations! We have just a few things left to do…

Most importantly, you must complete the assessment of your team members, which makes up 15% of your final grade. You will each assess the contribution and helpfulness of your other team members in completing the assignments, and assign them a team contribution score. Your own team contribution score will be the average of the points you receive from the members of your team.

Please complete this assessment by Sunday March 18th at the following link:

We are also keen to receive your feedback on how the course is going, which we take very seriously. Your candid and anonymous thoughts will help us make adjustments for the remainder of the term and in further versions of the course. We would greatly appreciate if you could please complete both the MIT Subject Evaluation and our own short Exit Survey, linked to below:

Many thanks! I hope you have a great time over SIP and Spring Break, and I look forward to seeing many of you for 15.872 in H2.

Best wishes,
David.

MIT Sustainability Summit - Tomorrow!

Hi all,

A quick plug for the MIT Sustainability Summit taking place this Friday (tomorrow) at the Four Seasons in Boston, which will dive deeply into some of the tensions surfaced in the People Express case. Hear how different companies (both big and small) are operationalizing people strategies, and working with external partners to effect broader socioeconomic and environmental change beyond their individual organizations. Keynote speakers will lay out the reasons why our current economic system is unsustainable and provoke participants to reflect on the leadership, vision, and imagination we need to forge a more sustainable path forward. You can find the full program and speaker list at: http://sustainabilitysummit.mit.edu/program.

Cheers,
David.
