Pset 4-1 typo again

Hi all,

I am so sorry that I made anther typo in pset 4-1.

I gave lateral boundary conditions u(0,t)=0 and u_x(0,t)=0 in the file.
However, it is weird, since we do not have a boundary condition at x=1.

So, as I wrote in class, the lateral conditions are
u(0,t)=0 and u_x(1,t)=0.

Note and Exam

Hi all,

Notes for this week has been uploaded.
Also, some part of the proof of practice problem 4 is corrected.

Regarding the exam, we don't really need to go through the whole lecture notes. In particular, the later lectures are difficult.

Please, review Pset1,2, practice problems, and Calculus of Variation. (Not pset 3.)
