Hi everyone,

The 7.014 Final Exam is going to take place next Thursday May 23 between 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Johnson Track.

1.) Please note that this is a CLOSED BOOK exam that is cumulative and will cover topics included in all lectures 1-36.

2.) Two sets of final exam questions for practice have been posted on Stellar page under the Exam folder (As some of you asked for extra questions, a final exam from a previous semester has been included). In preparation for the final, we recommend that you go over all your lecture notes and slides, p-sets, recitation handouts, practice questions, OCW site materials, recommended readings and previous exams.

3.) A study guide has been posted on Stellar -> Materials -> Exam Folder. All equations and charts that will be provided with the final exam have also been posted on Stellar -> Materials -> Exam Folder.

4.) TAs will hold exam reviews during recitations tomorrow (Thu May 16).

3.) Calculators are permitted in this exam.

4.) Please bring your MIT ID card with you and place it on the desk during the exam.

5.) You may use a pen or a pencil for the final exam. There are no re-grades for the final exam.

6.) The schedule for special pre-final exam office hours to be held during finals week has been posted in the Office Hours folder (Mon May 20-Wed May 22). I am always happy to meet outside of the posted office hours. Just email me to set up a time!

7.) Thanks to everyone who filled out the end-of-semester evaluations. Please take some time to fill the online evaluations if you have not already done so. We value your feedback and use it to improve the course for future semesters.

Thank you for all your hard work and participation throughout the semester, and good luck on all your finals!

Best,
Ayce
