"First Draft" paper assignment deadline: optional extension

We've received a few requests for an extension of the "First Draft" deadline, so students can use the weekend to write. We are okay with moving the deadline on an optional basis. For students who take advantage of the extension, we will try to have feedback done by 11/16 but may not have it until 11/18. If you use the weekend writing the draft, then we can't use that weekend reading it, which might slow turnaround on our end.

**If you don't submit on Friday, please email your readers--WRAP and technical staff--when you do turn in your draft.**

Workshops begin on Monday 9/30! Here's what to do.

Hello 6.805! Here are your topics, project teams, and workshop schedules. Workshops begin on MONDAY 9/30 which is very soon. A few notes:

Attendance at workshops is MANDATORY. Always tell your team and your workshop leader if you’ll be late or miss a workshop. As usual, if you miss a class due to illness or personal crisis, contact S^3 and request an excused absence.

MONDAY 4pm: Yes, there are two sections at the same time. Make sure you go to the right one.

WHERE: We’ll update rooms as soon as possible. Monday groups, I’ll email you with the rooms we’ve REQUESTED from the Schedules office for this week only. Please check your email before class in case there are changes.

WHAT ABOUT…? Institute holidays on Monday/Tuesday will impact some workshops. We’ll discuss this with each section. The dates are October 14 & 15 (Indigenous Peoples Day) and November 11 (Veteran’s Day).

WHO: Workshops will be led by Michael or Jessie. Some groups will work on projects and papers with Kevin, who will attend your workshops.
