this week and next

The 7.012 final exam will be Wednesday 12/19 from 9-noon in Johnson. Please bring pencils or pens and a photo ID.

Practice questions and solutions will be posted tomorrow. A good approach to studying would be to review your lecture notes, the section handouts, and make sure you can correctly answer all questions on the problem sets. We suggest that you print out fresh copies of the psets and make sure you can answer all questions without help from friends, TAs or tutors. In addition, you can review using the OCW site found here: http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/biology/7-01sc-fundamentals-of-biology-fall-2011/

Listed below are the dates and times of the remaining 7.012 office hours, review sessions and open office hours.

Thursday, 12/13, 11-2: Office hours, 68-120
Friday 12/14, 4-5: Review session covering lectures 1-9, 54-100
Saturday 12/15, 4-5: Review session covering lectures 10-18, 54-100
Sunday 12/16, 4-5: Review session covering lectures 19-28, 54-100
Sunday 12/16, 5-7: *Open office hours*, Stata café
Monday 12/17, 4-5: Review session covering lectures 29-36, 54-100
Monday 12/17, 5-7: *Open office hours*, Stata café

The review sessions are large scale, lecture/problem solving sessions. The *Open office hours* in Stata are designed as a way to stop in and ask specific questions. We will have 4-5 large tables, each staffed by a TA. Each TA/table will cover a specific topic, i.e., one table will be for questions regarding biochemistry, another for questions regarding genetics, etc. Students should come prepared with questions and should move freely from table to table depending upon the nature of their questions.
