Homework

Problem sets will be posted on Thursday and will be due in the class box the following Thursday at 5 pm. Solutions will be posted on Friday. Late problem sets will not be accepted.

Class attendance

Class attendance is required and will be verified. Lack of attendance could adversely affect grades.

Exams

There will be an in class mid-term exam on Tuesday, October 23, and a final exam Monday, December 17, 1:30 to 4:30 PM in 26-328.

Grading

Final grade = 0.3 x (Homework average) + 0.3 x (Midterm exam) + 0.4 x (Final exam)
