Final Exam on 12/16
6.002 Students,The course final will be held on Monday 12/16 from 1:30 - 4:30 PM in DuPont Gymnasium (Building W32). An alternate exam has been scheduled by the Registrar’s Office for students with coincident exams. The course staff will, however, try to accommodate other unavoidable conflicts (contact me directly, sabinop@mit.edu). The exam is closed book. Three pages (each double-sided) of formula sheets, a straight-edge, and a calculator are allowed. Graphing calculators are acceptable, but graphing functionality cannot be used during the exam. The use of calculator functionality on phones/laptops/tablets is prohibited.
The final exam will be cumulative and particularly emphasize concepts from the course problem sets. Application topics presented at the end of the semester (i.e., power conversion, EKG system) are meant to solidify course material and to stimulate interest beyond the context of the course. Such application topics will not, however, appear directly on the final. Practice tests and solutions can be found under the “Materials” section on Stellar (questions involving digital concepts such as truth tables and logic gates were not covered this semester and can be ignored).

PSET #10 and Lab #2
6.002 Students,Because we haven't yet covered op-amps in lecture, the due date (originally listed in the "Course at a Glance" handout as 11/22) was moved to in lecture on 11/26 (as listed on PSET #10). Your solutions from PSET #10 will be extremely useful in completely the Pre-Lab for Lab #2, so please copy your work for PSET #10 before submitting it.
The In-Lab exercises for Lab #2 can be completed with a partner, but ALL students must submit their own lab notebook containing a TA or LA check-off to receive credit. Check-offs for Lab #2 must be completed on or before 12/5 (and are due in recitation on 12/6). TAs will be available to check-off labs during TA office hours and during any of the tutorial sessions (listed under the “Tutorial Schedule and TA Office Hours” resource on Stellar). LAs will be available for lab check-offs during the hours listed in the “Lab #2 – LA Office Hours” resource on Stellar. Additional TA and LA office hours may be made available upon request.
Lab will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday from noon on 11/27 until 1 PM on 12/1, so plan your work schedule accordingly. Please start Lab #2 EARLY to ensure you finish on time!
