Updated review problems with solutions and comments

I uploaded an updated version of the handout with solutions to practice problems and some comments related to questions from today's review session for the final. You should be able to find it in the general tab along with the course syllabus.

Questions related to today's review session

Hi everyone,

I posted some examples of problems I'm going to cover today (problems 3 - 7) along with a couple of questions related to material from the previous two review sessions at the beginning (problems 1 and 2). Solutions will be posted after the review session.

Although the review session is related to topics listed on the Stellar site, feel free to ask me questions about material in any part of the class after the review session.

Final cheat sheet - Update (no printed sheet)

Hi all,
For the final, you will be allowed a double-sided regular size cheat sheet, made by hand.

I understand that a few of you have in the past broken with the spirit of this rule by micro-printing many pages on 1: we ask for the final that you do not use a computer and instead write your cheat sheet by hand.

Final review sessions

Dear all,

There will be three (optional) thematic review sessions ahead of the coming midterm.

- Thu 12/14 3:00p - 4:30p in 10-250 (Yevgeny Liokumovich):

Vectors, Gradient approximation, Level curves, Min/max, Lagrange multipliers

- Fri 12/15 3:00p - 4:30p in 10-250 (Kyeongsu Choi):

Coordinate systems, Double and Triple integrals, Jacobians, Line integral in 2D&3D, Conservative vector fields and potential functions in 2D&3D

- Sat 12/16 2:00p - 3:30p in 10-250 (Soohyun Park):

Surface integrals, Green theorem, Divergence theorem, Stokes theorem.
