Final Exam scores now visible; Extra Credit totals now visible

Dear Class,
Thanks for all of your dedication and hard work. It was a pleasure for me
to teach you.
You can now see all of your scores (except final letter grades which
must be go through a process that takes a few days)
1. final exam scores (out of 180)
2. total score as a percent of 100 (not counting extra credit)
consists of 30 percent for the two hour tests; 30 percent for homework;
40 percent for the final.
3. separate extra credit score computed from all extra credit during the term
as a percentage that is added to the total in part 2

Your letter grade is computed by adding the total in 2 and 3 to get
an overall percentage.
Grade cutoffs are 80 percent for A-, 70 percent for B-, 60 percent for C-,
50 percent for D.

As of now all grades should be showing (except the final)

Please write to us (Yichi, Evgeni and me) if you think there is a problem
set score or hour test score that is not showing for you. As of now they should
all be visible to you.

We hope to grade the final shortly (by tomorrow).

Corrections to notes

Good luck on the final exam!! I don't think you will need these corrections, for the exam, but I do need to send them. There are several mathematical misprints in the notes that were pointed out in the review session:

Chap 7 notes
page 1
0 < x < \le 1 (omit extra \le sign)

page 7 two lines from the bottom:
diameter less than \epsilon not \delta

page 8
there are J^L such functions \alpha (not L^J)

Estimates and asymptotics page 8
there is an extra factor \alpha that is wrong.
the integral is (1/2)\sqrt{\pi} \alpha^{-3/2} not -5/2.
