Hello All - Just a reminder that today is your first section meeting for 21L.011 The Film Experience -- go to the one you were assigned to unless you have a conflict at that hour (in which case, obviously, go to the other one); sections are 3-4 or 4-5 in Room 1-273 or 1-277, and we may have to move a few people to the other room depending on numbers. Today, you'll get to know the TA and classmates you'll be with all term in section, and you'll review the Three New Things (Framing -- Est / Long / ML / Medium / MC / Close / ExCU; Shot vs. Scene; Diegetic vs. Non-Diegetic) that we talked about in lecture. If you missed lecture Tuesday, then you'll learn those terms today. Your first screening is Monday night at 7 in our classroom -- Citizen Kane; Pulp Fiction. Great films. Super interesting narrative form.
