21M.301 Sightsinging Lab - First Class Today

Dear students,

In addition to Piano Lab, the work of students enrolled in 21M.301 is also supported by a mandatory, weekly, 50-minute Sightsinging Lab, Fridays at 4:00. The class is held in room 4-270. Students may exempt from this lab if they are currently enrolled in a curricular MIT choral group (Concert Choir, Chamber Choir or Chamber Music Society (vocal ensemble).

September 15 Piano labs cancelled

Please note that Piano Labs for Friday, September 15 have been cancelled. Labs will resume on Friday, September 22. To verify you place in the Lab please contact the Lab Instructor, YiYiing Chen. Optional make up Labs will be offered to interested students later in the semester.

PIANO LAB

An hour-long Piano Lab that meets on a weekly basis supports your work in 21M.301. As soon as you have confirmed your place in the class at the initial Lecture, you should proceed to the Piano Lab, 24-033 as soon as possible. Lab times can fill quickly. At the Lab you will find a roster posted by the door. Make sure to sign up for a time that you can consistently attend throught the entire semester. Piano labs will begin on Monday, September 11.  Please print out the materials for Lab that you will find on the Stellar Site for this class, and bring them to the inital lab meeting.
