Grade weighting

Hi all,

There were some questions on how the weightings for quizzes/psets work. The weighting is described on the course website (general information) - roughly 25% for the homework and 25% per quiz.

Office Hour change

Hi all,

Due to a schedule clash I will have to move my office hours from Thursdays 4-5 to Tuesdays 5-6 for the remaining of this semester starting from tomorrow (Oct 9 2018). If you would like to come but cannot make it to these hours email me and we can arrange an appointment.

PSet 2 Grades + Office Hour change

Hi all,

1) PSet 2 grades are out - please check! If you notice any errors / if you have any question about the grading please let me know (see the previous announcement).

2) This week my office hours will be on Friday 2-4 instead of Thursday 4-5. If you can't make it let me know and we can arrange another time to meet.

PSet 1 Grades

Hi all,

1. The grades for PSet 1 should be viewable now. Sorry for the delay!

2. If you have any question about the grades please talk to me either via email or during my office hours (Thursday 4-5PM at 2-231A/ by appointment).

3. If you can't see your grade on Stellar but did receive your hardcopy back - you can either email me (along with a picture of the grade) or come talk to me during my office hours.

4. If you can't see your grade and did not receive anything back - this might be due to the fact that you submitted your work late and it's hidden somewhere in PSet 2. If that is the case you will get your work back along with PSet 2.

5. Some of you are not registered in this class so we were unable to upload your grades to Stellar. Please register, and once you have done so let me know.

6. Some general comments: a) Please write your name clearly on your work. b) Please staple your work together (i.e. if you have multiple sheets for a single Q - staple them). c) Please try not to submit your work to the wrong pigeonhole.

Edit: 1. I forgot to mention that Q1 and Q5 were not marked - so you shouldn't expect to see your grades for these two questions. 2. You should expect to receive the hardcopy back soon.
