3rd Exam on May 12
The third exam will also be in the Walker Gym.Since the last test, we have covered Chapter 7 (except sections 7.6, 7.8.1, and 7.9); Chapter 8; and Section 9.2. The exam will be closed books, no calculators are allowed. Tables 7.1 and 7.2 from the textbook, including the moment generating functions of the most common distributions, will be printed on the exam sheets.

2nd Exam on April 14
The second exam will be in the Walker, 3-4pm on April 14.The exam will be closed books, no calculators are allowed.
All density functions defined in Section 5.6 of the textbook
(beta, gamma, Cauchy, Weibull) will be printed on the exam sheets.

Wrong chapter numbers in PSet 7
The problems in PSet 7 are from chapters 6 and 7.In the PSets handed out last Wednesday, all chapter numbers were
shifted (but the problem numbers and the transcript of the problems
were correct). The corrected version (with the right chapter
numbers) is now avaialble on the class web site.
