Office Hour Tomorrow Cancelled

Due to the MIT Shooter incidence (http://emergency.mit.net/emergency), there will not be an office hour tomorrow morning. I will be checking my emails during that time if you should have any questions.
I would also recommend everyone to follow the instructions by MIT Emergency to stay indoors and remain inside until further notice.

Midterm Q5 Clarification

For question 5 of the midterm, P is a set with p parameters, and P* contains P with 1 extra parameter.
For example, if p = 3, and P = {1,2,3}, P* can be {1,2,3,4}

Midterm Logistics - Important!!

We will start handing out midterm exams in E52-175 (the usual lecture room) today (17th) at 4:05PM. You will have 24 hours to complete the exam.

Please bring back your answer sheet together with the exam question sheet on Thursday (18th) to E52-175 (the usual lecture room) between 4:00PM and 4:15PM.

The midterm exam should be ENTIRELY your own work. NO COLLABORATION ALLOWED!! Please see the statement "Sloan & MIT Academic Integrity Policy & Procedure" posted on the Stellar site for further details.
