open response for final exam
Dear students,There will be an open response question attached to the final exam. A response to this question is required to earn the remaining 20 points associated with the TA group activities. To earn these 20 points please respond to ONE of the following questions. Your response should reflect a careful evaluation of the question and a well-articulated thoughtful response. Your response should be no less than 2 paragraphs and no more than 1 page of double spaced text.
Question Option 1: Describe what the “Innocence Project” is and how what you have learned in 7.00x can help you understand the science involved.
Question Option 2: Should there be a national or international database of everyone’s DNA fingerprint for use in forensics?
Question Option 3: How did what you learned in 7.00x help you understand the screening that led to Angelina Jolie’s decision to have a double mastectomy?
You have several options for your submission. 1) You can write your
answer during the final exam and submit it with your completed exam
on 5/21. 2) You can compose an answer in advance of 5/21 and email
it to me and your TA, or 3) you can compose an answer in advance of
5/21, print it out and attach to your final exam on 5/21. All
submissions must be received before 5 PM on 5/21/13.

Cellular energy (enzymes ,glycolysis, photosynthesis, etc)

Molecular biology
Genomics
In addition to these, we will have the following office hours:
Thursday after lecture: Kunle
Saturday 4-5 in 4-149: Samin
Sunday 4-5 in 4-145: Samin
Monday 1-3 in 4-145: Samin, Kunle and Sabina

Some of you still have not turned in the survery or have sent me a screen shot. Please do so by tonight at the latest. These are very easy points and you shouldn't lose them. Those of you who turned in the survey make sure your grade reflects that, otherwise send me an email.
