Preparation for Today's Class

Hi all,

We posted this on Stellar earlier in the week, but realize not all may have seen. As such, we are resending as email. Please reach out to Grey or Emily with any questions.

In lieu of a memo this week, we ask you to prepare a short three minute summary of your your final paper industry, which you will present to the class on Wednesday 5/10 (today). No visuals are needed (just share your summary). Here are three questions which may help you guide you:

1. Where is your industry on a high-road to low-road continuum? Think of ascribing 100% across this spectrum (i.e. 70/30, 50/50, 30/70)

2. What strategies (from any of the stakeholders individually or in combination) should be followed for spreading the number of high road firm?

3. What are the particular constraints or needs of your industry that colors these
recommendations or the current state of the industry?

Let us know if there are any questions. See you all later tonight!

Two Updates: Submission of Worker Voice Stories Due 5/17 + Final Report Industries

Hello all, happy Monday -

As a first reminder, Professor Kochan extended the due-date for the Worker Voice submissions to be May 17 rather than the initial due-date (this week). This is the date for the submission of the Final Report as well. You are welcome to submit your Worker Voice submissions before then, should you wish. Please let me (Grey) know if you have any questions.

As a second update, we request that you identify the industry you are assessing in your Final Report in the following Google Sheet to help us prepare: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1A1MtJ6GGiTIw-6j8pLg0NUk7VY4oXGcetv_T76P40oQ/edit?usp=sharing

Again, feel free to reach out with any questions.

Best,

Grey
