Practice Final Exams Posted on Stellar

Some of the final exams from previous semesters of 6.002 have been posted on Stellar to help you prepare for the final exam. The TAs will be holding office hours next week at the usual time and venue, in addition to the final exam review session on Friday (5/19).

Final Exam Review Session Information

The TAs will be hosting a Final Exam Review Session on Friday, May 19 in 32-124 from 12 noon to 3 PM.

The review will be comprehensive, but like the final exam we will attempt to weight it more towards the material covered since midterm 2. If there is anything specific that you feel you would like covered, feel free to email Sam (myself), Sumit, or Apoorva, and we will try to make sure that it's included in the session.

We have reserved the room until 4 PM, so the TAs will be around after the review session to answer questions as well.

Pset 10, 11, 12 Coverage and Advice

Given the homework policy in the class (that students are allowed to drop their two lowest homework grades), we anticipate many students choosing to drop these last few homeworks. These homeworks principally cover op amps and second order systems.

While the choice is yours, we encourage students to still look over the homeworks, even if you choose to drop them. The problems are taken from previous final exams and meant to be of the same difficulty level as we expect final exam problems. Furthermore, this is the only graded practice on this material that we offer in 6.002 outside of the final exam.
