Quiz 3 on Wednesday 4/24 at 1:00

Dear Students,

Quiz 3 will be held this Wednesday, 4/24 from 1:00 PM to 2:25
PM. Please try to be present in the class at 1:00 so that you can
quickly start. This quiz will cover all materials of Part B from
the beginning to the material including the topics I covered in
today's class (4/22). We will not ask you specific structural
analysis questions, however you are expected to know basic moment
and shear force diagram calculations.

This is an open book/notes test. Bring your calculators.

Please note that you may use your laptops only for accessing the lecture notes.

Project 1 extension, now due on 4/29

Dear All,

Professor Buyukozturk has approved a 1 week extension to Project 1. The final report for project 1 is now due on Monday, April 29.

Quiz 2 Wednesday 3/20 1 PM

Dear Students,

Quiz 2 will be held on Wednesday 3/20 starting at 1:00 PM.

Please arrive in the classroom a few minutes early so that we can promptly start at 1:00. The quiz will end at 2:25.

All materials that has been covered from Cables and Arches (cables and arches included) to the end will be included in the test.

This will be a closed book and notes test. Computers and smartphones are not allowed. You can bring a simple calculator.

You are allowed to have one sheet of paper with summary notes on the lectures. This sheet together with the question sheets will be handed to us at the end of the quiz.

Debarshi will meet with you to answer any questions you might have on the HW questions or lectures. Please email him for specific times. I am also available, just send me an email for a meeting time.
