Project guidelines uploaded & plan for this week

Hi all,

Under the 'Project' section of the course materials is a PDF providing the guidelines and rubric for our assessment of the presentations.

Remember that these should be submitted on stellar in the form of a PDF the midnight before you are due to present.

Presentations will be 7 minutes (strict), with 6 minutes for Q&A. Contributing to the discussion will help towards your class participation grade.

Congrats on finishing your projects and well done for all your hard work this semester!

Cheers,

TAs

Recitation Friday: Reference Materials Posted

Hi all,

For Friday's recitation, we will be discussing 20.440 material in the context of the BE qualifying exam. We will look at the 2016 exam (posted on Stellar under "Recitation Materials"), focusing on the questions related to this course. Even if you're not a BE student, consider this a good opportunity to review the material you've learned in the course.

Thanks,
TAs

PSet 8 and Figure Design Recitation

Hi all,

There has been a slight change to the timetable - PSet 8 will be released not this Wednesday, but next Wednesday 04/24. The deadline for that will be a week later as usual. Don't worry - it's related to your project so they'll go hand in hand nicely.

*Spoiler - it'll help if you have kept your project code up to date on GitHub*

We're also looking for teams to come forward and volunteer their figures for us to use during the figure design workshop on the 26th. Please talk to us, email us or post to us on Piazza if you want to volunteer.

Q: "Why would I do this?"
A: You'll get a load of very personalized feedback on your work and your final report figures will be 1000% better*

Many thanks

TAs
