Final lecture on Mon 5/11 11:30 am EST; final assignment due Tues 5/12 10 pm EST

Good evening 2.72,

A few quick important announcements:
  1. We will hold the final 2.72 lecture on Monday as originally scheduled, but we'll be starting at 11:30 am EST due to scheduling conflicts. Lecture Zoom link
  2. The new due date and time for the repeatability assessment is Tuesday 5/12 10pm EST. Our original due date (noon on Wed 5/13) for the final assignment is later than the latest allowable as per the emergency MIT academic regulations - that was our mistake, we didn't check this when we were setting the assignment due date. If you need the extra time, you may submit the assessment penalty-free up until the original deadline of noon on Wednesday 5/13. To compensate for this time shift, I'll be adding some additional office hours to my schedule (all times EST):
  • Mon 1-2pm
  • Tue 11am - 12pm
  • Tue 3-5pm

Pushing back final lecture to Wed 11am - objections?

Good afternoon 2.72,

Our final lecture is currently scheduled for Monday 5/11 - however, we are considering using Monday's lecture time for office hours and pushing back our final lecture meeting to the Wed 11am slot. Are there any strong objections to this plan (e.g., if someone's already booked a celebratory end-of-semester vacation cruise leaving port after Monday)? Please let us know by 5 pm Sunday, and we'll announce our plans.
