Final remarks & subject evaluation
Hi everyone,We are writing to let you know that we’ve submitted the grades for 24.904 Language Acquisition, and we’d like to thank you all for your participation in this class. This is a semester unlike any other, and many of you faced unprecedented challenges both in and outside the classroom. We have been very impressed by your continued work and interest to learn in this class, despite significant interruption half way through the semester, and we wish you all the best for the future.
As one final note, we would very much appreciate it if you could fill in the subject evaluation form (which opened at 9AM today), and give us whatever feedback you may have, in order for us to improve this course for future students. Thank you all once again and enjoy your summer!
Best,
Sherry & Athulya

Final Project Presentation: Plans & Sign-ups
Hi everyone,In the end we have decided to go with the option to have the presentation in front of the whole class (instead of doing breakout rooms). Here's some details about what will happen on 5/7 and 5/12:
1. The last two classes will be fully dedicated to presentations of your final projects. There are a total of 15 projects, so we expect to see 7-8 presentations in each class. We will begin at ***9:30AM***.
2. Sign up for the date and order of your presentation here (on a first come first serve basis): https://doodle.com/poll/8bkne3eukryfvu2x
3. Content-wise, your presentation should include the following aspects of your final project: key question, background, design, hypotheses, prediction, and discussion.
4. Each presentation will last 5 min, followed by 5 mins of questions. Be concise and to the point -- it will require some care and skill to keep the presentation tight.
5. The schedule will be finalized on Tuesday night 5/5. If a group doesn’t sign up by that time, they’ll just be assigned a slot (whichever is available at that time).
Let us know if you have any questions!
Best,
Sherry & Athulya

Reminders: Critical review 3 & final project assignments
Hi everyone,Given that we are one class behind, we've decided to push back the deadline for the third critical review (Noveck 2001) to Thursday 04/30. Please submit your review in a pdf document on Stellar.
We will get back to you regarding your final project assignment as soon as possible. In the meantime, as you continue to work on your final project, please feel free to email us with any questions, or set up another meeting with us, before the class presentation.
As mentioned in class, we will have an asynchronous lecture on Tuesday; the recording will be uploaded by 9:30AM. See you all on Thursday!
Best,
Sherry & Athulya
