FINAL EXAM DETAILS
Hi Class,OUR FINAL EXAM IS NEXT MONDAY, MAY 18. This exam will work identically to Midterm 2. The exam will be available on Stellar at 9am EST, and you will need to submit it by 6pm EST. Those of you in different timezones can count on the same extensions that you received for Midterm 2. If your situation has changed since Midterm 2, please let me know.
Like Midterm 2, this exam was written to be completed in a much shorter window than we are providing, and without access to any notes. You should have plenty of time to complete the exam.
As for study resources:
This morning, Professor Fee gave a Final Review Session. It was
recorded, and that recording is available on Dropbox. Tonight and
Thursday night, our TAs will give office hours dedicated to the
study guide (available on Stellar). There will also be recorded
recitations tomorrow going over question 4 specifically.
I have my office hours tomorrow (May 13) at noon, and Professor Fee has his on Friday at 1pm.
In the meantime, please reach out with any questions or concerns. If you have general questions, please post them on Piazza. Otherwise, you can always reach me via email.
Best,
Michael Happ

COMPLETELY OPTIONAL PSet 7 has been posted
Hi Class,PSet 7 has been posted, BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT IT'S COMPLETELY OPTIONAL.
We have provided PSet 7 purely so that those interested can have some practice problems related to neural networks.
If you're interested in discussing or receiving hints on problems from PSet 7, visit either Professor Fee or myself in office hours. Other TAs WILL NOT have office hours dedicated to this material (although Recitation 13 will be relevant).
I can't stress enough that this problem set is entirely optional. There's no credit of any kind for completing it. It's not even really a great way to prepare for the final (please see the study guide for that). That being said, we had the problems, so we wanted to share them as a resource for interested students.
Best,
Michael Happ

Final Exam Study Guide and Final Exam Date
Hello Class,The Final exam study guide has been posted, along with a fairly detailed set of solutions.
The Final Exam is currently scheduled for 5/18. As far as we understand, we'll be able to use the same format (that is, making the exam available at the start of the day and having it be due at the end of the day).
Best,
Michael Happ
