Subject: SIPB Documentathon, this Sunday, 1300 onwards To: sipb-office@mit.edu, sipb-midway-2008@mit.edu Hey, We'll be holding a SIPB Documentathon this Sunday starting at 1300h in the office. This is a kind of hackathon focused on documenting things that SIPB members, or some of them, know and take for granted, but which are not well-documented in any written form. The documentation is an excellent time for people to help out who - know a lot of stuff, so you can get it down in writing - don't know as much stuff: pick a topic you know a little about, find someone to learn about it from, and write it up fresh. We'll set up a wiki beforehand to organize all of the documentation. All members and prospectives are encouraged to come and write down what they know about anything at all related to SIPB or computing at MIT. This will be a SIPB hackathon, so as usual there will be snacks available and free dinner for those present. See you on Sunday, - Nelson Elhage SIPB Vice Chair
