This directory contains a copy of the encoding files from the fontname
distribution.  (See CTAN:/doc/fontname on CTAN hosts, mirrored from
ftp://ftp.tug.org/tex/fontname.)

These can be used with Afm2tfm and included in Dvips' PostScript output
to change encodings from the default without actually making any new
font files.  See the Dvips manual for details.

Each file contains a description of the encoding contained therein.
