Configuration Editor

The Configuration Editor is used to view a virtual machine and configure its floppy drives and CD-ROM devices.

If you wish to use the Configuration Editor to edit an existing virtual machine configuration, choose File > Open to open the virtual machine configuration file (.cfg) then use Settings > Configuration Editor to edit it. All configuration options may be modified when a virtual machine is powered off. Some configuration options may be modified while a virtual machine is powered on, such as options for removable devices and Miscellaneous parameters.

After making changes in the Configuration Editor, you have two choices:

• OK. Click OK to apply your changes and leave the editor.
• Cancel. Click Cancel to leave the Configuration Editor without modifying your configuration.

Use Power > Power On to start the virtual machine.
