Mouse Devices and Virtual Machines

You can use a PS/2 mouse with a virtual machine. VMware ESX Server attempts to auto detect the mouse type and the path to the mouse on your system.

VMware ESX Server supports the following types of mouse devices:

• Logitech Mouseman serial-port
• Logitech Mouseman+ PS/2
• Microsoft Intellimouse PS/2
• Microsoft serial-port
• Mouse Systems
• PS/2
