Problems with a Serial Number

If your serial number does not allow you to access VMware ESX Server, please verify the following:

Did you enter the serial number correctly?
Is the serial number valid for your VMware product?
Has your serial number expired? When the serial number expires, you are prompted to enter a new serial number. You may not necessarily see a message indicating the reason why you must enter a new serial number.
