To change the size of the virtual machine window, you can select a choice from the View menu in the console window. The window of a virtual machine can be sized in three different ways:
Autofit mode. The window always conforms to the size of the virtual machine display, even when the virtual machine changes its display size. This mode prevents users from resizing the window. Scroll bars are enabled as necessary whenever the virtual machine display does not fit in the window.
Fit mode. The window conforms to the size of the virtual machine display, removing the scroll bars.
Full screen. The virtual machine window expands to the full size of the screen so you no longer see the borders of the console window. When the virtual machine has control of input, you can press Ctrl-Alt-Enter or click the Full Screen button in the toolbar to go into full screen mode. Press Ctrl-Alt to leave full screen mode.
Caution:On a Linux host, if hints are enabled, a virtual machine cannot enter full screen mode when you click the Full Screen button on the toolbar. In order to put the virtual machine into full screen mode, use the Ctrl-Alt-Enter key combination or choose View > Full Screen.
