You peer in through the glass window, and catch a glimpse of the automaton-like shape snapping to attention, as if electrified. Then, you watch as it reluctantly stands up and comes shuffling toward the door, silent and sullen....
The automaton stoops, picks up the pass, unlocks the door, and wanders back to its desk.
