Contents - Back Office - Department Settings

The Back Office Administrator for a department can configure a variety of Stock objects for the department. These include Patient List Filters, Lab Snapshots and Phrases, and Charge and Diagnosis H-Pickers. All users in a department automatically have access to these stock objects. Using the Personal Preferences Tool, users can hide any stock objects if they prefer not to use them.

Patient List Settings
The Back Office Administrator can configure the following stock objects that help manage patient lists:

• Stock View Filters
• Stock Short List Data Filters
• Stock Short List Data Populators
• Stock Long List Data Filters

Lab Settings
The Back Office Administrator can configure Stock Snapshots and Stock Phrases for Lab Results using in the department. Please refer to the Lab Results Settings in Personal Preferences for a desciption of Snapshots and Phrases.

Charge Capture Settings
The Back Office Administrator can configure Stock Charge H-Pickers and Stock Charge Macros for Charge Capture users in the department. Please refer to Charge Capture Settings in Personal Preferences for a description of Charge H-Pickers and Charge Macros.

Problem List Settings
The Back Office Administrator can configure Stock Diagnosis H-Pickers for Problem List users in the department. Please refer to Problem List Settings in Personal Preferences for a description of Diagnosis H-Pickers.
