Order Status Settings

The Order Status Settings screen allows you to set the default behavior for the Order Status module for all users. An order list contains the list of all orders issued for a particular patient. When you select Order Status Results from the Edit Settings menu on the Institution Desktop, the Order Status Settings screen appears.

The Order Status Settings screen allows you to configure the following parameters:

• Default # of days for all order types : This setting determines the number of days, between 1 and 7, that order status information is stored for all patients. Note that users can choose to override this setting on their handheld device if they wish to receive more or fewer days of order information.
