Vitals and I/Os Settings
The
Vitals and I/Os Settings
screen allows you to set the default behavior for the Vitals and I/O module for all users. When you select
Vitals & I/Os
from the
Edit Settings
menu on the Institution Desktop, the
Vitals and I/Os Settings
screen appears.
The
Vitals and I/Os Settings
screen allows you to configure the following parameters:

Default # of days for all vital types
: This setting determines the number of days, between 1 and 7, that vitals information is stored for all patients. Note that users can choose to override this setting on their handheld device if they wish to receive more or fewer days of vitals information.

Default # of days for all I/O types
: This setting determines the number of days, between 1 and 7, that I/O information is stored for all patients. Note that users can choose to override this setting on their handheld device if they wish to receive more or fewer days of I/O information.

Shift Start Time
: This setting specifies the start time of a shift. The I/O view displays the date and shift of each measurement.
