When you log into the PatientKeeper Administration Tools application, the tools available to you are determined by your access level to the system. This access level, called the PatientKeeper Administrator Tools Access Level (or PAT Access Level ), can be as follows:
Level 1 : These administrators have institution-wide privileges, that is, full access across all departments and all users. Typically, these are the administrators who are responsible for the information technology systems within your health care facility. They have complete rights over themselves, as well as all other users in the system, including the ability to add new users.
Level 2 : These administrators have department-wide privileges. They are able to configure stock charge macros, lab results snapshots and macros, profiles, and patient list filters for users within departments. They are also able to add new users. They can review charges in the Holding Bin, and batch charges to the billing router.
Level 3 : These health care providers can use the PatientKeeper Administration Tools application to manage their patient lists, enter charges for their patients, and create personal filters to control the number of patients on their patient lists. Health care providers can also create personal charge macros, lab results snapshots and macros, and profiles that are available only to them.
