Selecting a User

You use the User Desktop to select the user that you wish to configure. To select a user, do as follows:

  1. Click on the user's name in the View Users form.
  2. Click on the Edit button in the Quick Details box.
  3. Select the settings you wish to modify for that user by using the Edit Settings pull-down list that appears.

If the user's name does not appear on the View Users form, you can use the Search button in the Quick Details box to search for a user by their name, user name, or ID. Or, you can select categories of users from the View Users pull-down list to filter the list. In either case, the View Users form will update with all users that match the search criteria, reducing the list so that you can more easily select the user whose settings you wish to modify.
